This blind appears to be a home made job with different size lettering and no standard layout, eg look at the two Walton displays in the illustration. The order is also a mystery as some Clacton town service destinations are included in with the alphabetical ordered destinations in the second half of the blind. Layout varies most displays are fully justified, more or less, while others are centred. No attempt has been made to indicate this in this listing.
Fitted to 1440 (1 BXB) then 1448 (BNO 117B). These were originally 383 & 367 - MW coaches from Tillings in 5/65 which were sent to Marshall's at Cambridge for conversion from C39F to B41F and B43F with power operated door and destination box on the roof. 1440 was converted 1/75 and 1448 12/74, both were withdrawn 9/80.
On rear of the blind to assist driver find correct destination CN and WN marked in pen for Clacton and Walton displays. On rear of Chester Camp is marked "No S/G" still trying to work this one out.
Wear on blind appears to indicate used mainly on Clacton & Harwich town services
